Does Yum Mum™ use only Australian ingredients?
Yum Mum™ uses local and imported ingredients. We are dedicated to using local ingredients where possible. However sometimes it is difficult to source the necessary ingredients in the quantities required within Australia, due the limited size of the organic industry in Australia.
Does Yum Mum™ use thickeners?
Yum Mum™ does not use thickeners, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Why organic?
As a mother, I am passionate when it comes to feeding my family. I am also concerned about the environment and the impact that we have on it. I, therefore made a commitment to buy organic food whenever possible. I know that organic food is grown without the use of artificial pesticides and fertilizers, and is safer for farm workers who grow the food, and better for the environment. I also discovered organic food tastes better and have read many studies which suggest it is more nutritious! So, when it comes to making baby food, a pure start is essential!
Is this what you fed your own baby?
I have three children, the youngest Oliver, who is now 3 was top taste tester number 1. With 3 discerning food critics and a number of 'bigger kids' eager to be included, you can be sure you won't see a product that didn't make the cut! Yum Mum™ meals are tried and tested on real babies!
The recipes are home made meals that I cooked for my own family. So I hope your family enjoys them too!
My child has allergies, does Yum Mum™ have meals that my child can eat?
The top allergens identified are peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, wheat, sesame, eggs, fish, and shellfish. Please read each individual listing on the products page for more information. Yum Mum™ is free from nuts. For a wheat free product choose from the Risotto or the Middle Eastern Lamb Pilaff. We also cater for Vegetarians.
Are Yum Mum™ meals organic?
Yes, all our ingredients are organic and our products are certified by Australian Certified organic (ACO). ACO perform a yearly audit to ensure all organic integrity is being kept and the ingredients can be traced from farm gate to plate. What makes Yum Mum™ meals different from other baby foods?
Yum Mum™ stands out in a crowd by being sold in colourful, vacuum-sealed packs that sit in the chilled section of selected delis, heath stores and independent supermarkets.
Flavour: Yum Mum™ is multicultural fare for little ones, departing from the standard, 'tuna mornay' and 'beef casserole'.
Consistency: food is more textured for this age bracket, to help with teething and speech development.

All Yum Mum™ meals are made in a state-of-the-art facility located in Australia. The manufacturer must adhere to strict HACCP guidelines, and is audited on a regular basis to ensure these guidelines are being met. Yum Mum™ is Australian made and owned.
